Local-first by design
By default, everything you enter in Eagle Debt Payoff — debts, balances, payments — is stored only on your device(in your browser’s local storage or your phone’s app storage). Without an account, none of your financial data is sent to our servers. We never ask for bank credentials and never connect to your bank.
What we collect if you sign in
If you create an account (optional, used for backup and multi-device sync), we store: your email address, and a copy of your plan data (debts, budget, strategy, payment history) so it can sync across your devices. This data is hosted on Supabase (servers in the United States) and protected so that only your authenticated account can read it. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers — Eagle Debt Payoff shows no ads.
Payments
If you subscribe to Pro, payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we store only your subscription status and a Stripe customer reference. Stripe’s own privacy policy applies to the payment itself.
Cookies and analytics
The public site uses no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers. If you sign in, we use the strictly necessary cookies/tokens that keep your session active. Anonymous, aggregate usage metrics may be collected by our hosting provider (Vercel) to operate the Service.
Your rights
You can export your data from the app, and you can delete your account — which permanently removes your synced data from our servers. If you are in the EU/EEA you additionally have the rights provided by the GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection); to exercise them, contact us.
Data retention
Local data stays on your device until you clear it. Synced data is kept while your account exists and is deleted when you delete your account. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.
